Why Am I In Love With Her?

September 12th, 2009

Hey bro, I hear ya.

Today I met a chick and experienced “love at first sight”. She is really my type too, but she has a boyfriend.

But I feel something strong so I’m not going to give up on her, but I don’t know how to do it, how to get her attracted to me.

I’m gonna hit the seduction books big time. I know that the guys who teach and learn this stuff know exactly the right buttons to press to get any woman to helplessly be attracted to them.

Anyway, gotta go and read these two books I got, see the differences below and wish me luck! :)
Even before I met this girl, this guide already actually gave me real results with other women: Guy Gets Girl.
If you don’t know how to make cocky conversation with her, you need this: Make Women Laugh.

Home Remedies For Eczema

August 18th, 2009

There are many home remedies for eczema that you can try. Compare this to drugs and other pharmaceutical creams that may give the illusion of temporary relief but do nothing in the medium to long term. Only a natural, holistic approach can yield the long term cure that you’re looking for so let’s take a closer look at what is out there and available in nature for you to use today.

  • Cold pressed oils such as flaxseed oil can help some people.
  • Drink tomato juice. Works for some.
  • Try eliminating foods from your diet one at a time. You may actually have a food allergy.
  • Take vitamin B6 supplement daily.
  • Apply watermelon peel onto the site of the eczema.
  • Apple cider vinegar.
  • Limit your stress. Stress triggers eczema in many sufferers.
  • Try a turmeric daily supplement.

Forget about hydrocortisone creams. Over the years, these will actually damage your skin and cause you great irritation and pain themselves. Why use drugs and creams when natural methods will work?

Lindsay Lohan Weight Loss – How Did She Lose 14 Pounds?

July 23rd, 2009

To be fair, Lindsay Lohan did not need to lose any weight. You could clearly see her collar bone and she had no fat under her chin. For her original weight, she also had slightly larger than average cup size that did not sag. In my opinion, she has an eating disorder. But we can still learn from her how to lose weight because many people, men and women alike, can really benefit from around 14 pounds of fat lost.

How Did She Do It?

Lindsay Lohan has been quoted in interviews as saying various things.

Sometimes she says she has no issues with food and eats healthily. At other times, she claims it is not intentional and that she still eats at McDonalds and blames the lost weight on “stress” and “lack of sleep”.

We may never know how Lindsay is really losing all that weight. In my view, she does not look healthy anymore (regardless of her weight). In my view, she is eating less because she is gaining pleasure from other activities like partying. This is clearly not sustainable in the long term.

It is also said that she has been drinking a calorie-burning weight loss drink whose ingredients are fairly common and include caffeine, green tea and others that are said to have “thermogenic” properties. I think these are useful for your initial weight loss but clearly are not sustainable in the long term.

So it remains to be seen if she can keep the weight off in the long term. Ideally, I think she should try to gain back half of what she lost and then this will be her ideal weight.

Real Weight Loss Success Story #3 – Darren

July 23rd, 2009

Here’s yet another great weight loss success story I want to share with you. This time it’s a chap called Darren. I knew him as a very overweight guy but over just a few months he changed. I asked him what his own personal secret told me and he said he followed only a few simple rules on Monday to Friday (pig out on the weekend so your body keeps a normal metabolism and never goes into “starvation mode”.

The Rules

Don’t eat after 8pm (or else it will all become fat because your body won’t burn it in your sleep).

Don’t eat carbs before noon.

No processed foods. These are laden with “bad fats” and other adulterants that will make you fat.

No booze, soft drinks, fruit juices. Drink water or tea instead. This sounds tough but after three days of pain you will be used to it. Mainly water is what we are supposed to drink and what your body loves most.

No bread or products made from wheat. This stuff will just keep you fat!

No snacking between meals. No excuses whatsoever – no snacking! Don’t try to justify any snacks!

Always eat a nice, hot, home cooked meal in the evening (before 8pm remember!)

Remember, you can let loose on the weekend. Your body needs the shock to remember that it shouldn’t go into starvation mode. And during the week, simply by eating better and following these rules you will automatically be eating less calories and “better” calories.

The Prison Diet – Is This Some Sort of Joke Technique to Lose Weight?

July 23rd, 2009

Could it really be that a “prison diet” could work for you? Could it be the weight loss diet you’ve been waiting for? Let’s take a closer look.

The Good

The good thing about prison food is that you get freshly made food: meat, vegetables, fruit. Not too much fat. You don’t really have much of a say about what you eat either so it’s quite similar to being on a diet plan where you get meals delivered to you at home. Like it or lump it basically. Plus, most prisoners are not fat and the literature says that prison obesity levels are less than in the outside world.

The Bad

The bad news is that much of the food is high in carbs. Although that’s not really as bad as it might sound, so long as you don’t eat too many calories. You might think that prison food lacks nutrition but there is enough in it to cope quite well as you’ll see soon. The worst thing is that much of the food is so tasteless that some prisoners lose a lot of weight simply because they don’t want to eat it and will only eat the bare minimum to exist.

The Truth Is Out There

Many people think that prison food is lacking in nutrition. But the truth is that there is enough nutrition in it and much more than the average overweight person’s diet that is rich in refined sugars, sweets and fatty fried food. Take a look at this picture of “Charles Bronson”. No that is not the famous late actor but the longest serving English prisoner by the same name. His muscles are testament to the fact that a prison diet is enough to even “bulk up” if you wanted to:

Ultimately, the prison diet won’t work for everyone but it does have its merits.

How To Choose A Walking Stick

July 6th, 2009

Many people, often in their 50s and 60s, will be reluctant to use a walking stick out of some unfounded psychological fear about what it signifies about their physical health – when in fact, a good walking stick is a fantastic tool and much more versatile and easy to use than crutches or a wheelchair.

Notice that I said a “good” walking stick. The advantages and benefits only hold true if you make a good selection in the first place. Given that a walking stick is little more than a piece of wood, then a cheap one may be little better than a section of 2 by 4, whilst an expensive hand-crafted one may last for years and be perfectly balanced.

Price is a good indicator but it’s not everything. Here are some good tips to make sure you choose a decent stick:

  • Try it out! Try to buy your stick in person rather than over the internet.
  • Get the storeperson to lean on it themselves with their full weight. If they’re not willing to, it means that it’s not strong enough.
  • Get the right length. It should measure up to your hip bone.
  • Is the handle comfortable? Are you happy with the style of the handle?

I’m assuming here that you want a regular walking stick/cane. Of course, there are other types such as quads and those used for hiking.

Ultimately you want to make a good choice of cane because it will last you for years and you won’t need to buy another one if you choose wisely.

Home Eczema Remedies

July 4th, 2009

Millions of people around the world suffer from eczema and are looking for decent home eczema remedies. Like you, they may have tried a barrage of drugs and creams but to no avail. Are you sick of the dryness, the itching, the scaling and the redness? Are you seeking a natural end to your skin hell? Do you want to avoid the need to see a dermatologist who will only prescrible you drugs anyway? Then read on!

The first thing you need to do is avoid those things that can contribute to your condition. Fried foods and soda both dehydrate you and will make your eczema worse. Drink plenty of water so that your urine is never dark yellow. 2 litres a day is a reasonable amount. Also, it could be that you are allergic to some foods without even knowing it, or that these can act as triggers. For example, allergens like pollen and dust can trigger eczema breakouts (and not just hayfever). Even soy, eggs and wheat can be bad for eczema. Also, stress has been linked to this condition.

Use a good moisturizer. It is very important to keep your skin well hydrated. Sometimes the most expensive moisturiser may not be very effective and the converse can also be true. Look for one that contains vitamin E as this anti-oxidant is proven to help those with eczema.

Avoid using perfumes. If you must, look for those that are less likely to give an allergic response. When it comes to soaps and moisturizers and anything else you apply to your skin, go for the non-perfumed option. Even for deodorants, it is possibly to obtain a 100% natural product and almost all drugstores carry these.

Otherwise, try to eat as healthily as possible. Get plenty of the necessary omega-3 fatty acids in your diet, the best source of these is oily fish OR you can just take fish oil capsules instead. Also, look into a type of cream called emolliants. They are derived from “fat” which may sound gross but they are actually very effective against eczema. If you haven’t already tried these out then you should.

Hair Loss Stem Cell Research

July 4th, 2009

Since 1990s stem cells are used in many treatments. Nowadays for hair regeneration, hair loss stem cell therapy is proving to be a good technique.

First of all we need to know what stem cell is. Stem cells are the first building blocks of our body. We all started as a stem cell and then subsequently divided into millions of cells as we grew over time. Then a reverse process of decreasing stem cells starts, as we get older. The process gets faster if we suffer from diseases like heart attack, stroke, cancer, diabetes etc.

In stem cell therapy, stem cells are used as a replacement of damaged or dead cells in the body. On the scalp dead cells don’t grow hair and the area becomes bare, which we call bald. Now if we replace the dead cells on the scalp with new ones through stem cell therapy then the bald spot can be transformed into an area full of hair. This is the basic premise of stem cell therapy for treating baldness. After using this therapy to treat baldness, particularly male pattern baldness, some have experienced good results and some have not had good results. The research is still on and hopefully the success rate will improve in the coming years.

Don’t wait 10 years for stem cell therapy to be available. Click here to cure your hair loss TODAY and do it naturally.

In the scientific lab, stem cells are produced and then these cells are injected in the bald areas of the scalp. If the first attempt to generate hair does not work then the doctors try again but the result is not guaranteed as the process is at an initial stage. If you want to try stem cell therapy for hair loss you can contact a dermatologist for the purpose.

Tetanus Vaccination Schedule

June 25th, 2009

The vaccination schedule for tetanus varies from country to country but the principle is generally the same across the board. It’s important to remember that tetanus is a very rare disease. In the UK for example (population approx. 60 million), only 6 people get it each year.

The Principle

With all vaccinations, whether for tetanus or Hepatitis B for example, the principle is the same. You should receive the first few doses quite close together to encourage a strong reaction by your immune system. Later, you can receive booster doses years apart.

United Kingdom

In the UK, for example, children receive the vaccine at two, three and four months of age. They then get a booster at around 3 years of age and a further booster in their teenage years. This should give full immunity for life.

Adults who never received any immunisation get three shots at one month intervals. They then get a booster shot 10 years later and another one another 10 years after that. Again this gives immunity for life.

United States

The US has a very similar immunisation schedule for tetanus but also recommends a booster shot every 10 years for life. This is at odds with UK opinion. Having said that, there is no risk to having “too many” tetanus shots.

Combined Vaccine

It is quite rare to find a tetanus vaccine on its own. More often you will find them combined with any one or more of the vaccines for diptheria, pertussis and polio.

Risks

It’s important to remember that it is quite difficult to get tetanus, even if you are not immunised (some people cannot due to allergic reaction to the shot, for example). The bacterium responsible for tetanus is anaerobic and cannot multiply when exposed to air. Also, you can only get it if the spores get in your wound. These spores are not found in rust (a common misconception) but are found in animal faeces and organic soil.

So there is a higher risk of tetanus from a puncture wound e.g. from a nail (rusty or not) or from a wound that is visibly dirty where animal faeces or soil is present. A typical random scratch is very unlikely to give you tetanus.

Causes Of Tinnitus – The Key To Defeating Tinnitus Is To Understand It

February 22nd, 2009

Millions of people are affected by this debilitating condition that frankly does not receive enough funding compared to other conditions. Although it is not directly life threatening, it greatly affects the quality of life of sufferers, many of which can even become suicidal.

Hair Cell Damage

Tinnitus depends on a number of factors but in every case there is always some damage to the ear.

The inner ear contains a small organ known as the cochlea. This looks similar to the spiral shape of a snail’s shell and contains tiny hair cells.

Like grass on a football pitch, if a little force is applied to the hair cells then they will merely deflect but return to their original shape. However, if too much force is applied then the hair cells can become permanently damaged.

Timing

Long term and progressive hair cell damage can happen particularly if someone is within range of very loud noises for frequent and continuous periods. It can even happen from a single incident if it is loud enough.

Stress

Nearly all people who have tinnitus also suffer from stress. Greater stress also causes much higher intensity symptoms of tinnitus.

It is not clear why this is so but it is thought to be related to the circulation of the blood and how this links in with the hair cells and their connection to the brain via the nervous system.

What is known is that reducing your stress can relieve or even eliminate your tinnitus.
